Getting Stuff Done, Dreams Coming True … Just another day with EFFICIENCY

I met a friend recently for lunch.  At the close of our meal, she reached over the table and placed her hand on top of mine – looked me square in the face and said, “I have a confession to make.”

“I have this dream.” She said.  “At first, I was really excited about my dream.  But then time passed, life went on, and I  never realized my dream.  But the weirdest thing is happening now.  It seems like it’s all I can think of, it’s constantly on my mind.  I know this sounds crazy, but I feel as if my dream has possessed me.”  She cried.  “It haunts me day and night.”

You see, my friend has always been challenged with getting things done on TIME.  It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about a household task, a professional project or to arrive on time for a an appointment or business meeting.  She is unsuccessful.

Her dream has always been to ARRIVE.  Arrive on time, without being frantic, stressed or rushed.  To complete her to-do’s without worry or overwhelm.  She envisions herself breezing through her work and showing up to places with time to spare.

That’s it.  That’s her dream in a nutshell.

Dreams are funny like that – once they are lodged in our heart, they refuse to go away.  When we ignore our heart, we essentially give up on a part of ourselves.  And I never want you to give up!

Here’s what I want you to do.

I want  you to refuse to quit.  Say it over and over:  “I Refuse To Quit.”  Write it down on a Post-it Note and plant that baby everywhere.

Now write down your dream and then put a dollar sign in front of it.  (Really, do it!)  What would that dream be worth to you in real dollars – financially and emotionally – to cross the finish line?  To get things done and show up on time?

What kind of money are we talking about here?  What’s your time worth?  And think hard now – what’s your peace of mind worth?

Write that number down.  Look at it.  Say it out loud.  That’s what you’re losing out on by not fulfilling your dream.

Now imagine how you’ll feel when you become a student of EFFICIENCY — with all the tools, motivation, and support you need to reach your dream faster, easier and with more joy.

Imagine how incredible you’ll feel when that dream is really coming true!

Imagine your dream paying off – over and over again!

The thing is, the world is not going to get less distracting. YOU have to get stronger and more focused. Let me help you!

And say YES to time and peace of mind
Let’s do this!

Training starts on February 11 at  7pm Eastern U.S. time. Don’t delay, okay? → Join us!

Struggling With CLUTTER?

So many people struggle with clutter.

They don’t have to.

They can live clutter free.  There are options.

Yet, people by and large still struggle.

Why is that?

It’s a question that I have asked myself for years. In fact, I was so intrigued by this question that I found myself on a quest to find the answer. Unbeknown to me, I soon found that this one question was packed with more than I bargained for.

I wanted to know, understand, and come to terms with, ‘why human beings insist on struggling – even when they don’t have to?’

This question posed other questions for me.  Unleashing my deep desire to come to a better understanding of:

  • Why are so many people depressed?
  • Why do we feel anxious?
  • What are we all so afraid of?
  • Why is there so much imbalance in the world?
  • What is the human spirit capable of?

Which evolved into what I guess, one would say, a spiritual journey for me.

Over the years, I have received countless emails from people asking: What’s the secret to living a clutter-free life?

And with each inquiry my quest grew deeper.

I wanted to help these people.

I wanted to get them to a place where they could live in a home that was neat and clean.

I wanted them to stop worrying and feel at peace.

And most of all I wanted their pain to go away.  It broke my heart to see them suffer.

I wish I could tell you that I was able to figure out all the answers, but there are still many questions that remain open.

However, this spiritual journey that I speak of has served me well.  It has provided a richer understanding of why some people choose to free themselves of clutter while others remain stuck.

Yet, that didn’t stop my quest for trying to help those who are still struggling.

With compassion and tenacity, I created a program that is simple to implement for freeing your mind.

Here’s How To Handle Unproductive Days

We all have them – productive days where you feel like a champ and can tackle anything that comes your way.

I think that’s why when the not so good, unproductive days come our way, we feel a mix of emotions from disappointment to overwhelm.

The best way I handle the wave of an off day is by tapping into a few simple strategies.  Here is what’s recommended when you can’t get out of your own way:

  1. Take a Short Break … (to relax your mind)
  2. Seek Out Inspiration …(to help lift your spirits)
  3. Eliminate Distractions … (to keep you focused)
  4. Tackle a small task …(to help you feel productive)
  5. Evaluate the Reason Behind the Lack of Productivity … (to keep you in touch with your feelings)

I must admit that I do feel much better when I apply these techniques, but I also found that it reduces the amount of time of indecisiveness that usually accompanies unproductive days.Hope this helps you out a bit.  Feel free to share any tips that you may have.

Till next time, be well.

How to bring more ‘positivity’ into your life

Let’s talk a little bit about “positivity”…

Positivity is the ability to meet challenges and situations in life with an “I can do it,” “I’ll figure it out,” “Things will work out,” attitude.

Now here’s the thing…

It’s not that people with positive attitudes don’t face the same disappointments, challenges and stressors in life that everyone else does.  Not at all.

The difference is that they choose to find a productive and positive way to cope and respond to challenges.

Studies have shown that positive thinking brings positive responses in your body which can boost your mood and diminish stress.

Again, we all have stressors in our life, but by practicing the power of positivity the more likely it will be that you will enjoy a sense of well-being.

Here’s a very powerful exercise you can do immediately to help you feel more positive:

  • Make a list (yes, write it down) of all the things that are going well in your life, of the things that bring you joy and the things you are grateful for.
  • Make an effort to read it first thing in the morning and before going to bed.  Also, place it in a place during the day where you can read it often.
  • Why is this important?  Because by focusing on the aspects of your life that are going well for you can promote a positive attitude in the rest of your life.

Now here’s a little suggestion.  If you are struggling right now and the idea of “positivity” seems far-fetched, it could be that you just need a little mental clarity.  So I’m going to invite you to schedule a FREE one-on-one call with me so I can explain how the mind clearing exercise (you know, the one that people are raving about) can be your new best friend.

Just click the link below and rest assured that soon you will feel lighter, have a sense of peace and yes, be  more positive.

Get Your Life In Order

Do you know why “order” feels good?  Well, in part it’s because our brain doesn’t have to work so hard.

Clutter creates stress that has three major biological and neurological effects on us—our cortisol levels, our creativity and ability to focus, and our experience of pain.

No matter how we slice it, when clutter creeps in to the point where it exceeds our ability to manage it – havoc occurs in our world.

So if you’re struggling with clutter, it stands to reason that your mind is craving calm, clarity and focus.  That’s why I am going to suggest that you attend my FREE webinar.

Makes sense?  (I think it does!)

In A Funk?

So, you’re in a funk, huh?

Let’s look at some reasons why this happens and how to get yourself out of it.

Fatigue:  It’s Time For Recovery

Your body is telling you that it needs better care.  Fatigue can feel like a bad hangover, only this hangover is from lack of sleep and a poor diet.  Pay attention to how you are managing your body. Treat your body like a Temple.

Reaction:  Understand Your Triggers

What are you reacting to – Rude comments? Negative thoughts? Past sadness? Upsetting email? Your triggers can cause overwhelm and stress. Journal your feelings to release and get clear.

Rumination:  Move Around

Are negative thoughts playing over and over in your head – like a merry-go-round you can’t get off of?  When this happens you need to interrupt the pattern by moving around or changing your location.  Get up, move, stretch, bounce around,  go for a walk or run.  Just move.

Here are some additional things you can do:

Set an intention for the next hour.  What would be a win for you?  What will make you feel better so you’re back in charge? (not the negative thoughts) How can you take back control?  It could be something very simple. Little things go a long way.

Turn on the positivity.  Listen to a podcast, audio book, youtube, read a book.  This helps reset your mind.

Tackle an action.  Make the bed, clean your desk, do the laundry, empty the dishwasher. Anything that makes you feel productive will help shake the funk.

Share your feelings.  Don’t be afraid to confide in someone with how you’re feeling.  Seek professional support if needed.
