Struggling With CLUTTER?

So many people struggle with clutter.

They don’t have to.

They can live clutter free.  There are options.

Yet, people by and large still struggle.

Why is that?

It’s a question that I have asked myself for years. In fact, I was so intrigued by this question that I found myself on a quest to find the answer. Unbeknown to me, I soon found that this one question was packed with more than I bargained for.

I wanted to know, understand, and come to terms with, ‘why human beings insist on struggling – even when they don’t have to?’

This question posed other questions for me.  Unleashing my deep desire to come to a better understanding of:

  • Why are so many people depressed?
  • Why do we feel anxious?
  • What are we all so afraid of?
  • Why is there so much imbalance in the world?
  • What is the human spirit capable of?

Which evolved into what I guess, one would say, a spiritual journey for me.

Over the years, I have received countless emails from people asking: What’s the secret to living a clutter-free life?

And with each inquiry my quest grew deeper.

I wanted to help these people.

I wanted to get them to a place where they could live in a home that was neat and clean.

I wanted them to stop worrying and feel at peace.

And most of all I wanted their pain to go away.  It broke my heart to see them suffer.

I wish I could tell you that I was able to figure out all the answers, but there are still many questions that remain open.

However, this spiritual journey that I speak of has served me well.  It has provided a richer understanding of why some people choose to free themselves of clutter while others remain stuck.

Yet, that didn’t stop my quest for trying to help those who are still struggling.

With compassion and tenacity, I created a program that is simple to implement for freeing your mind.

When Your Heart Says No

WHEN YOUR HEART SAYS NOHave you ever tried to get something done that’s very important to you

but your heart just isn’t into it?

It feels strange because it’s contradictory to what you’re saying you want to do, right? Part of you knows it would be such a relief and it makes so much sense, yet you just can’t seem to find the motivation to get it done.

Do you ever wonder why that is?

Well, here’s the thing. Your mind has a lot to do with how your heart is feeling.

You see, if you don’t have clear direction, a path with steps to follow, through to completion, your heart is simply not going to be into it.

I know it sounds funny, but it’s true.

If your mind doesn’t have clarity you will find yourself procrastinating. As Brendon Burchard would say, “Your heart is going to ask you to pause.”

In my program, Mindful Tools For Organized Living, I address this issue thoroughly because I know that most people who have clutter have problems with procrastination. I also know that frustration, stress and overwhelm is a result of not having clarity.

If you’re an on-line learner, Mindful Tools For Organized Living is a video tutorial that walks you through, step-by-step, the process of decluttering your life and Mindful Tool #5 specifically deals with how to overcome procrastination.

If you prefer one-on-one support, The Mindfulness Coaching program is your best choice for rapid results. If you’re interested in learning more about this, simply schedule a call with me HERE!

Either one is guaranteed to help you get out of your rut and on to being productive.

I hope this clears up the mystery a bit about “matters of the heart” and look forward to helping in any way I can.

Powerful Questions To Streamline Your Life

POWERFUL QUESTIONS TO STREAMLINE YOUR LIFE

The core reason why we de-clutter is because we want a better quality of life. We want our life to be simpler, less complicated.

Wouldn’t you agree?

Yet, when it comes time to let our things “go” we struggle. This holds us back and delays the peace of mind we are seeking.

Here are some questions that can help you streamline your stuff and balance out what’s really important for you.

Take a look:

Does it make me feel happy, good, joyful?
Is this something I use currently or is it a “someday” item?
Is this something I would buy right now if I saw it in a store?
Do I feel confident when I wear this?
If I were moving, would I take this with me?
Do I have multiple items of this?
Is this worth my time to clean, maintain or store this item?
Would someone else benefit more from having this item?
Is the thought of wasting money keeping me from getting rid of this?
Am I holding on for sentimental reasons?
Do I like this or do I love this?

PS:  Don’t overthink your answers. Go with your gut. Then make a decision.

Organically Yours All In One

Sometimes life doesn’t go the way you planned.  A heath setback, career change or end of a relationship can cause mental stress. Stress that may feel unfamiliar and scary at times.

It can be life altering when you walk toward the light and make bright healthy choices rather than running with fear and making impulsive, random decisions.

You see, I understand this familiar path.  I’ve been there.  And I can share with you that amidst the chaos it is possible to find the calm by reconnecting with yourself.  Your light is there.

Organically Yours takes a holistic approach to healing utilizing the body, mind and living environment.  I found  all three are equally important for a balanced life, especially in times of turmoil.

A Reminder We Can All Use

A REMINDER WE CAN ALL USE

A few signs along the way after teaching my Mindfulness Course in Florida.  We are all so unique and special and although our stories may be different we are all the same – and we all need kindness, love and support.  Here’s to staying mindful!

The unbearable heaviness of clutter remains heavy on my heart

The unbearable heaviness of clutter remains heavy on my heart.

I have witnessed countless women suffer from the unbearable heaviness of clutter.

Their suffering remains heavy on my heart…

Until the day arrives when they are set free from the clutter.

Unfortunately, many women procrastinate a very long time before they finally take action.  The latest research gives us a little insight into why…

“A recent study published in Current Psychology,
found a substantial link between procrastination and clutter problems.  Procrastination is closely tied to clutter, because sorting through and tossing items is a task that many people find unpleasant and avoid. It takes time to file away important papers or sort through a dining room table buried under books.”

Stress is also a huge problem with clutter.  We know that stress is inflammatory and causes problems with the immune system.  Clutter and stress are a toxic combination.

Research shows that there is a “growing body of evidence that clutter can negatively impact mental well-being, particularly among women. Clutter can also induce a physiological response, including increased levels of cortisol, a stress hormone.”
I can give you countless reasons why I advocate for women to get organized…all of them lead to a healthier life.
