Clutter Begins And Ends With A Mindset

It’s astonishing how many people face an onslaught of clutter in their life.

It wouldn’t surprise me if your initial reaction to reading that gave you a little jolt of anxiety. I mean seriously, the thought of battling a mess everyday is exhausting, let alone actually having to experience it.

But the hard fact is: “54% of Americans are overwhelmed with clutter.”

Now, here’s something that people neglect to realize, and that is: “Clutter begins and ends with a mindset.” Yes, that’s right, I think that’s worth repeating…

“Clutter begins and ends with a mindset.”

You see, there’s something going on in the mind when someone has clutter. Now, just so we are crystal clear here, I”m not talking about the occasional messy home or office. I’m talking about the vicious cycle of clutter that feels like you’re trapped and can’t get out from under the piles and piles of stuff.

When that cycle is alive, there are very strong emotional blocks that are active as well. This is why it is extremely difficult to break free from the clutter syndrome because there is a conflict between the mind and heart.

Now, I can tell you form my 20 plus years experience as a Chronic Disorganization & Hoarding Specialist, that this is a very serious problem, however, the good news is that it is solvable. It does take some work, but there is a cure for clutter.

The cure for clutter not only has to do with developing good skills and forming new healthy habits, but it also has to do with readjusting our attitude and limiting beliefs. This is how the emotional blocks get penetrated and this is how a new mindset then occurs to end the clutter.

One of the ways I help people begin the process of de-cluttering their life is through a Mind Clearing Session. I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about this previously and have read the testimonials. The Mind Clearing does exactly that – it helps bring clarity and a deeper understanding to one’s higher self.

I’m hosting a FREE webinar discussing this and so much more. If you can relate to what I just wrote about, you owe it to yourself to attend. (Really, you do!)

Get Your Life In Order

Do you know why “order” feels good?  Well, in part it’s because our brain doesn’t have to work so hard.

Clutter creates stress that has three major biological and neurological effects on us—our cortisol levels, our creativity and ability to focus, and our experience of pain.

No matter how we slice it, when clutter creeps in to the point where it exceeds our ability to manage it – havoc occurs in our world.

So if you’re struggling with clutter, it stands to reason that your mind is craving calm, clarity and focus.  That’s why I am going to suggest that you attend my FREE webinar.

Makes sense?  (I think it does!)

Dwelling In Possibilities In NYC

Dwelling In Possibilities In NYC

Part of dreaming big is allowing yourself to dwell in all the possibilities that life has to offer.

Within the dwelling of possibilities you become a seeker of opportunity.

You begin to see things different – with fresh eyes and a keen sense of what can be.

It can be an exhilarating time with so much hope for the future.

Does it take courage?  Of course it does.  Does having support help?  I believe it does.

I could not have recovered from many things in my life and gained the clarity I needed without  life coaching.  It helped me tremendously by opening up a whole new world for me.

Life coaching gave me the tools to believe in myself.  When I think back and look at the things I have accomplished by believing in myself I am amazed, and so grateful for the support through life coaching.  I sincerely believe that it enabled me to do the things I once only dreamed of.

I have recently published a new e-Book – Life Coaching; a guide to hiring a professional coach.   If you are considering making some changes in your life and thinking about working with a coach, you may find it helpful.

I am also in the process of another project that I am so excited about and am anticipating the release by early Fall 2016.  However, as all the dwellers of possibilities know – you must begin to breathe your dreams into life.  That’s what the below picture is about – just me, dreaming big!

ny times - 2016

I would love to help you do the same.  If you are interested in learning more about how life coaching can change your life –  drop me a line.  I would love to hear from you. You can reach me @ [email protected]

With love,

Loving What Is

Loving What Is

Below is an excerpt from Byron Katie’s Book –Loving What Is
“I am a lover of what is, not because I’m a spiritual person, but because it hurts me when I argue with reality.  We can know that reality is good just as it is, because when we argue with it, we experience tension and frustration.  We don’t feel natural or balanced.  When we stop opposing reality, action becomes simple, fluid, kind, and fearless.”
My Dear Friends…
Doesn’t this free you up? Doesn’t it give you permission to say, ‘Ah, yes, it is all OK – I am not going to argue with what is, I can accept it and then take the steps that are necessary with ease?
Living an untruth is always stressful. So many times haven’t we denied or tried to control our reality instead of just accepting it.  And how has that worked out?  Usually it becomes at some point very painful.
The process of  Life Recovery is just like that…loving it all…loving every broken piece of it and then some.
Maybe it’s your career, relationship, environment, finances or health that’s causing you to feel anxiety, frustration and confusion.  But if, just if, we take this approach of Loving What Is, doesn’t it feel gentler and more peaceful? Doesn’t clarity begin to focus in? Then inspiration … possibly?
If you are struggling and would like to learn how to overcome your challenges and  recover, I would love to share with you all the valuable tools that have helped me.
In Healing,
Patricia xo

How To Soar To New Heights

“How does it feel to be completely blocked from achieving your highest potential? You know you want to get there; you feel you can do it; you even imagine it in all its glory.  But nothing happens.  You can’t make the transition.”~ B. E.

The above is a fairly typical example of  how my clients express themselves when they feel stuck.
Perhaps there are moments when you feel this way too?It is also fairly common to gain moments of clarity in the stuck process.  You start to get energized and take steps to get yourself out of the rut.  You feel like you are making progress and you feel excited.  Then “something” happens.  You are not sure exactly what that something is, but it stops you from moving forward.  You find yourself pulling back again, this time even further.  You’re not sure why you pull back but you do. Your primary instinct is to seek comfort.  Comfort from your internal tug of war.
So what is this all about – what’s really going on when a person feels this way? Although a person may feel stuck, it is important to understand what “stuck” represents.  Often you will hear the comparison of being stuck to being in the middle of something.  The middle of something that one may feel they can’t get out of or not sure which direction to go.This is a very accurate description.  The truth is, the person who is feeling this way is  indeed stuck in the middle of something!  And that something usually represents the past and the future. This is why feeling stuck can be very confusing and needless to say, emotional.
So how do you get unstuck?
On Monday, August 31, 2015 from 7:30pm until 9:00pm ET, I will be presenting an on-line workshop that will help you sort it all out.  Following will be Q&A time.  Just imagine what it will feel like when you are no longer trapped in the middle of your past and future.  Take a moment and envision being unstuck.  Do you see yourself soaring above – perhaps soaring to your higher self?
Life Recovery
Take a look at what my client has to say now (the one who wrote the quote above) about being unstuck…
“I feel like I’m soaring like a bird.  I smell the sweet, sweet air with the gentle wind against my face.  It’s delightful, it’s exhilarating, it’s freeing!” ~B.E.
It’s not fun being stuck in the middle! Let me help you! Register for this event!
Once you register you will receive a Welcome Package that includes detailed information on how to attend the event.  You will also receive a Workbook that will guide you through the PowerPoint presentation that evening.  There will be time for a Q&A period so please bring your questions.

Disorder Distracts – Order Brings Focus

I’ve heard it been said that “Wisdom is the study of difference.”

I thought about this and how it applies to disorder and order.

For example, I have always said…

“Show me a person with clutter and I will show you their lack of follow through.”

Clutter, a form of disorder, distracts the mind.

Organization is order and brings clarity.

Look at the below picture – do you think you can be productive, focused, and orderly in this environment?

Now look at this picture – do you think this environment would bring about focus, clarity and order?

What are you experiencing right now?  Do you understand the difference between order and disorder in the context of how it can make a true difference in your life?

Here is a fact:

If I can change what you know, I can change what you do.

And if I can change what you do to help you be more organized and efficient, I think you will then understand that “Wisdom is the study of difference.”

Interested in learning more?  I hope so!  I will be teaching you how to apply 7 Organizing Laws into your life that are bound to be life changing.

So don’t waste any more time – register now!
