Ready to simplify and give up all that “stuff?”

Today I received an email from Neale Donald Walsch. The point of the message was to reassure us that we all have the ability to rewrite our life story.

In other words, it’s okay to give up our past.

How often do we get locked up in our old experiences and think that we have to live that story out – all that “stuff” that has nothing to do with who we are now.

Not only is it unhealthy, but it keeps us stuck and prevents us from living out our greatness.

In case you are not familiar with Neale, he is an International Best Selling Author who’s books are inspired by God.

Here’s a picture of us:

The email reminded me once again why so many people struggle with clutter.

Clutter is just an outward manifestation of what we are continually telling ourselves – the drama, the disappointment, the pain of our messy life experiences.

The reason why people have clutter is because they are stuck in their story!

But there is a way out!  And there is a new story just waiting to be told.

I explain all of this in detail and show you exactly how to let go and re-write a new story, step-by-step, with The Keep It Simple Now System.™ People are raving about it because they are getting results –  and I know you will too!

Are you ready to get unstuck and simplify your life?  I hope so – I truly do!

You can learn how to do that by clicking on the link below. (You’ll see all the juicy testimonials inside.)

Are You Clutter Blind?

Are You Clutter Blind?

Did you know that clutter can cause you not to see?

Let me explain.

When you live with clutter for a long period of time, you literally become so accustomed to seeing an untidy collection of objects that you no longer “see” it.

An energetic film grows over your stuff that conditions you not to see it.

Building up an immunity to clutter is not a good thing. I repeat, it is not a good thing.

So here’s what I want you to do.

I want you to view your clutter through the eyes of a visitor.

Imagine someone coming to your home for the first time.  Now imagine them walking around and looking at all your “hot spots.”

You’ll be surprised how spaces and areas of clutter come into view that you have passed many times.

Then I want you to snap some photos of your clutter.  This is a powerful way to “see” your space with fresh eyes.

Keep looking at the photos over and over.  By doing so, this will help bring the clutter into your consciousness so you can begin to “see” it again.

With this new “sight” you’ll be able to recognize that de-cluttering your environment is necessary for your well-being and take action.

3 Strategies That Can Help You Get Organized

3 Strategies That Can Help You Get Organized

There are three strategies that can make your organizing efforts more successful.

It begins with taking a look at organizing from a psychological, social and tactical aspect.

Here’s a quick intro to get you started:

Psychological
It’s extremely important that mentally you start out with a positive outlook and you maintain that throughout.  Feeding your mind healthy thoughts is good for the brain and helps sustain your motivation.  Using your mind to envision your outcome is also important by staying focused on the “outcome.”

Social
We are humans and we’re not designed to do things alone.  Having a support system is critical to your well-being.  A mentor, friend, coach, peer, someone that you can openly and honestly talk to and receive feedback and pointers from is the key to following through.

Tactical
Having an organizing plan that you can execute with confidence can make a huge difference with how you manage your time. Make sure you understand how to declutter, sort and organize in the most efficient manner.

All three strategies play an important role separately and collectively. Through the process of getting organized you may find yourself bouncing from one to the other for strength. endurance and stability.

Remember, organizing can be something you just “do” or it can be a lifestyle.  It all depends upon how you choose to look at it.

Need A Little Magic In Your Life?

Are you familiar with the folk tale of Aladdin (the Disney movie from 1992) where he rubs a  magic lamp and a genie appears and grants him 3 wishes?

It’s one of my favorite stories.

I sometimes wonder if I was granted 3 wishes like Aladdin, what I would choose and how my life would change.

So I make a little game out of it.  I think really hard about the 3 wishes I would like.  Then I try to figure out if I can turn those wishes into achievable goals.

It’s pretty interesting how this little game reveals some really big stuff.

I encourage you to try it.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how I can help make some of your wishes come true and turn them into achievable goals.

With Spring right around the corner, tidying up and getting organized I’m thinking might just be one of them.

If that’s the case, head on over HERE and see how I’ve created some magic just for you!

Wednesday Wellness – Tips For Clean Living

Did you know that every morning you wake up to a reality vision board?

Think about this. Your home, is your creation. It is your vision in real life.

So if you are pleased with your environment that you live in, good for you. If not, then change it.

You see, we do manifest outwardly from the inside (the way we think and feel). Your living space is a good barometer check for what is going on internally. Take a good look at the way you are living. There are clues there.

To your wellness,

Parents Need Coaching Too – Find Your Balance

Listen up….Calling all parents!

Back to school time is hectic.  And right now you are in the “throws” of it.  That means you are super busy and I am sure feeling pretty stressed.

It’s okay…I understand.  I was a single parent for many years.  I know what you are going through.  Although this can be a very exciting time for your children, it’s not always easy to share in their enthusiasm when we are feeling out of balance.

I get it!

What we want to be on the look out for is associated overwhelm and anxiety.  This is important because it’s generally the time we start to see excessive amounts of clutter and other manifestations.

I understand that work-life balance is a challenge and how easy it is for things to snowball out of control.  That’s why it’s necessary we prepare and put into place an organizational plan.

I’m presenting a tel-class to help you re-focus, prioritize your important tasks, and clear out those cob-webs. It’s the perfect time to brush up on your skills and perhaps learn a few things or two.

Won’t you join me?  Remember, parents need coaching too!

A Thanksgiving To Remember

A Thanksgiving To Remember

Remembering Your Departed Loved Ones

As we enter this day of Thanksgiving and we count our blessings,  there may be people who have passed on from our lives that we deeply miss.  Although we may feel sad, we can still honor them with the same joy of Thanksgiving as if they are still here. Here is an excerpt from James Van Praagh’s article – Remembering Your Departed Loved Ones During The Holidays that you may find helpful:

When you are enjoying an almost perfect holiday event this season and think to yourself “I wish Dad was here to enjoy this” comfort yourself with the knowledge that he is closer than you think!
*    Acknowledge those who have passed in a special way – display a favorite holiday photo of that person, make their favorite recipe, or use a serving piece that belonged to them during the meal. You can even set them a place at the table- any small gesture that brings them closer will be appreciated!
*    Encourage family members to share a memory. Pick a time where everyone can share a memory or story about the person who has passed. Let the dead know that they are loved and remembered.
*    Be open to signs. Be open to subtle scents, sounds, and thoughts that signal the presence of your loved ones – and respond to them, “hi mom!” so Spirit knows you are aware of them.

Monday “Isness”

It is Monday morning and my very first email I read was about Gratitude.  Now, I must admit, it not only soothed my soul but it was exactly what I needed.

You see, as of late, I have had some “things” on my mind that have been weighing me down.  It is easy to lose sight of all the good “things” that are right in front of us when this happens, as we tend to forget about Gratitude.

Gratitude arises from the understanding that life is truly a gift.  That perhaps we are part of something bigger and greater we do not fully yet understand but we believe in.

We also realize that our life in its current state is a gift.  Each day is a unique gift that we can give back and contribute to. This appreciation of life helps us to value what “is” right here and now and the life of others.

Therefore, trust the “isness” of life and allow it to hold you – without will or want, struggle or planning.  Embrace and love what is and come to know the humbling feelings that are associated with this.

We are all searching for meaning and purpose on this planet. But for today, this Monday, try to sit back just for a moment and ponder how awesome it is that we have the privilege to be part of life.  That all is well, right now, as it “is.”

Allow me please to share a beautiful Prayer with you.  My hope is that it will bring you the peace and comfort it provides for me.

Praying-hands

“Thank you, God, for helping me to know that all that I seek is coming to me now. Thank you, God, for allowing me to feel, right now, the peace that comes with gratitude for what is, replacing the yearning for what is not. Thank you for bringing me the understanding that from the isness comes all that is now not, but will surely be. Let me stay, then, in the isness.”  ~ Neale Donald Walsch
