Are You Addicted To Technology?

Check out the below quote from “O MAGAZINE”…

I am addicted to gadgets. Trouble is, I keep forgetting where I put them.
A friend once said, “Our lives are spent in moments–how many of them
do you want to waste looking for your cellphone or BlackBerry?” Finding
a place for everything frees up time to pursue what you really want.–Donna
Brazile, columnist in O, THE OPRAH MAGAZINE

Can you relate? Of course most of us can.

But what I would like to know is when did we allow technology go govern our day?

Are you interested in learning tips on how to be more balanced out and turn down the noise from outside exposure?

We already have enough noise in our heads, do we really need more?

What Are You Giving?

“We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.”

– Sir Winston Churchill

What are you “giving” to improve the quality of your life?

Maybe today it’s a phone call to a long lost friend, a simple smile to a stranger, or a hug to someone special.

Have faith, it will all come back to you.

A Beautiful Prayer …When It All Gets Too Much…

For All My Busy People…

Dear God,

When the day is too busy and the voices too loud, when there is too much on my mind and too little in my heart, when I plan too much for tomorrow and explain too much about yesterday, when I have hidden my true feelings inside and then complained of being lonely and misunderstood, be my good shepherd and my friend.

Gather up my jangled nerves, my tensed muscles, my anxious and fluttering heart.  Send life pulsing through me like an irresistible flood.

But show me how to be quiet, too.  Teach me to be still.  In deep stillness let me rest.  Let silence surround me like a friend, calming me and instructing me with deeper wisdom from within.

When my day is too busy and the voices are all too loud, be my good shepherd and my friend.

Amen

Today Was An Amazing Day…Do You Know Why?

Let me tell you…what an amazing day I had.

Are you curious why it was so amazing and what made it stand out from any other day?

Well, it’s simple.  I wasn’t expecting it to be anything different from any other day…and quite frankly, was starting out with the thought process of …ugh…my glass is half empty attitude, until I shifted that…and when I did…well, amazing things happened…

Such as:

Had an awesome client consultation…interacted with full presence and opportunities certainly did present themselves…

Felt better about my circumstances…looked into the future with bright eyes and open heart…

Felt pumped about the idea of what can become of the vision that I have set forth because I believe in it…

What about you?

Are you looking at things from a perspective of how can I fix things and poor me…or are you saying…I am grateful for what I have and I look forward to what’s to come…

What do you do to help yourself feel better about your life…do you pray?   Mediate?  Recite a Mantra?  What….do you do?

I would love to hear from you…it’s by sharing that makes us human, alive and real…can you feel that?  Does this resonate with you?

Life is complicated enough…we can make it simple…if we choose to do so.

Yet Another Experience In Life…

Someone once said to me…

“Please don’t give up.”

So I didn’t.  Really, I didn’t.  I eventually gave up on him…or should I say “us,” but I certainly did not give up on “ME.”

So maybe that’s the life lesson…

When someone let’s you down that you believe in so deeply, you have no other choice but to reach inside and find out what you are really made of.

Because if you don’t have yourself, who is left?

It doesn’t mean you have to be bitter.  It doesn’t have to become a tug of war.  It can allow for growth and forward movement.

But it’s funny – just when you think there could be no other…no one could possibly touch your soul that deep…someone appears that turns your head, opens your eyes and releases your heart…and just like that…you are free.

“The Energy of the Mind is the Essence of Life”

Yes, Aristotle said this!

But what I am curious about is what is your energy level like?  Do you associate your energy levels with how you live your life?

If you can bring yourself to feel good in your mind – isn’t true then that your whole life begings to feel better?  Have you thought about how you can work with your mind to overcome some of your challenges?  Interesting right?

Well, I will confess…it helps me tremendously to run when I begin to feel “low.”  It’s a quick pick-me-upper and quite frankly I know that I need that to make me feel better.  My outlook starts to get more focus and clarity.

Now, do I always feel like running or exercising, of course not!  But then, some days I really do look forward to it. It’s like anything else, you do it because it’s an investment in something that you realize the payoff is going to have a great return.  And feeling good – for me – is a fabulous payoff!

Are You Buried Alive?

This Friday, Larry King Live will feature guests from TLC’s Buried Alive at 9:00 PM ET on CNN!

DO YOU NEED HELP?

You don’t have to suffer alone. Millions of people are affected by clutter and hoarding. It takes an experienced professional to support you with compassion and empathy, to keep you accountable and committed for successful results.

I have been helping people virtually and in-house nationwide and globally, and I can help you too! It’s not too late to begin – it’s just the first step in the right direction to allow the process to unfold.

If you are experiencing an overwhelming amount of stress due to your own clutter or from a loved one, I urge you to get support.

Please let me know how I may assist you. Please visit my website @ www.keepitsimplenow.com for a wealth of information on this subject. Also, stay tuned for an upcoming show on LifetimeTV where I discuss this subject matter.

Until then, I wish you well!

Sincerely,

Patricia Diesel

Why Can’t I Get Organized? Help!

My Dear Friend,

With respect to your situation and current affairs…I must speak the truth. You have confessed to reading and investigating organizing options every which way you turn…and the reason for your delayed success is quite frankly, this…

Self help techniques are failing you because you need a customized program. One that will help you come into your own and figure out what is best for you and your family. Period.

This does not mean it happens over night…the success you seek – the calm, quiet of your mind and space is something that you work towards and then maintain for life. Again, period.

Anyone else telling you differently is misleading.

I can help you if you are committed and accountable to the process that is required for living an organized life.

If you feel you are up for the challenge, I can offer you many coaching options that we can work through.

The above letter was sent in response to a woman who is overwhelmed with her disorganization and clutter. She is continually let down by trying self-help techniques that do not help her.

Can you relate to this? What are your thoughts? Are you ready to create a lifestyle that enhances your quality of life?

Success From Failure

“Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.” – Dale Carnegie

I can certainly relate to this quote. Sometimes when I am faced with discouragement or I feel like I may have failed at something, it only makes me want to try harder. I guess in some ways my competitive nature comes out, but it makes me stronger in a sense. I have a mantra that helps me stay strong and moving forward – my secret mantra is:
“Never, Never, Never, Give Up!”

What about you? What do you do in the face of adversity? What keeps you going?
