Tuesday’s Tips Tel-Class – June 7th – One Man’s Treasure…

It can be so confusing and overwhelming my clients tell me.  All these thoughts circle around their head such as:

  • What should I keep?
  • What do I get rid of?
  • What things are of monetary value?
  • What if I need it someday?
  • What do I do with the stuff I inherited?
  • And on it goes…

There is no doubt about it – your “treasures” tell a story and you want to be sure that you are making the right decision when it comes to keeping or letting go.  This is understandable.

However, it has been my experience that all of this “thinking” ahead of time can create a lot of anxiety and worry – which sometimes can end up paralyzing you.

So the answer here is to get some of the facts on:

  • What to do
  • How to do it
  • When to do it

Everyone’s treasures are different and unique – but the process of “letting go” generally falls around this theme:

  • I am ready to move on with my life
  • I am ready to release the things that used to hold me back

Which simply means, you no longer wish to live in the past amongst the things that you were clinging on to.

You realize you can still hold onto the memories of what the things represent and make room for new memories to come.

And most importantly – you will let go without fear or worry and feel good about your decisions –

Now that is what constitutes …

“One Man’s Treasure From One Man’s Stuff”

So ask yourself now –

  • Are you ready to take action?
  • Are you ready to dig deep and let go?

Then come on – sign up for Tuesday’s class – let’s roll up our sleeves and get down to it, shall we?

Do Your Actions Support Your Intentions?

Recently I was faced with a decision that was difficult for me to make because I truly cared about someone, but I also knew deep down inside that this person was not ready for what I was capable of in terms of a balanced relationship.

My intentions were set from the beginning to meet someone who is “emotionally” available in mind, body and spirit.  Hence, a man appeared from my past that I found myself attracted to.

As time took it’s course, I tried to evaluate whether or not my decision to not go forward was realistic  – was it because I was honoring my intentions – or was it in response to injured feelings of a past hurt.  I had to be clear.

What I found was although my one time “Forever Man” did forever change my life, this also allowed me to see what I could and could not accept in terms of what was healthy for me.

It was nice to have companionship, it was lovely to have someone who thought about me, and it was endearing to be wanted, yet I knew by staying, I would not support my intentions of a long lasting, loving relationship.

He thought he was ready, I knew he wanted to be ready.  There was the difference.

What about you?  Are your actions in alignment with what you desire?  Are you being true to yourself, no  matter how fearful it is or how much it hurts?

What’s Her Secret?

“Adopt the pace of nature:  her secret is patience.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

I can relate to this quote in so many ways.  From a personal standpoint, reflectively speaking, I would have to say I have learned hard lessons on how important it is to have “patience” in a relationship. Over time, I have mellowed out, and can see now, what at one time I was blind to.

Speaking professionally…patience is a virtue.  It’s the process of building a vision, an idea or thought.  Developing your business plan takes time and nurturing.  If we rush, we can stifle the creativity that could make the difference for us.

Think about it…do you consider yourself a patient person?  Would it benefit you to have more patience?  What areas do you think you can show more patience?

I would love to hear from you…

There Is No Set Path, Just follow Your Heart.

Do you know how to listen to your heart? When your head is saying something completely different from your heart, what do you do?

I received a gift from a client of mine – it is a brass plate with the words etched into it –

“There is no set path, just follow your heart.”

I have it hanging in my powder room and I sometimes find myself just staring at it and getting lost in the thought of what it really means…

I am curious on what your thoughts are.  Do you think it’s that simple?  What happens when you follow your heart and someone breaks it?  How do you deal with the heartbreak?

I am listening…
