The Seeds We Plant Along The Way

Have you ever heard of this quote?

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.”

~Robert Louis Stevenson

When I first started my business I was very goal oriented and driven.  I wanted to succeed and reap the rewards of all my hard work.  At the time, that’s all I focused on because that was my mind set.

Throughout the years, my passion for my business grew and developed into something more than I could of ever imagined.

Even when times were difficult and I was faced with decisions that business owners have to make to ensure their lifeline, the idea of not continuing my work was simply not an option.

There is something sacred about a person inviting you into their life and allowing you to support and navigate them to hopefully a much better place.  It is quite an honor.

One could say that this business of helping people has been truly a gift for me.

I have come to learn and appreciate that having a business is  not just about obtaining the desired goal.  It is about developing and maintaining relationships.

Each day I get to participate in someone’s journey and plant a seed.  But what most people don’t realize is that they are providing the same gift back to me – and for that I am grateful.

This tel-class I am going to be talking about this and so much more.

And to show you how appreciative I am of awesome people just like you, I will be giving away something very special.

I hope you will be joining me and other like minded individuals.

With love,

Patricia

PATRICIA VISITS WITH NJ COUNTRYSIDE

A visit with Patricia Diesel, professional organizer It’s not just 12-step groups that forgive and welcome back. The calendar does too. Every January it gives humans another chance to start fresh and really get it right this time. Fortunately, there’s help. Professional organizer and life coach Patricia Diesel of Basking Ridge reveals her methods and offers some tips on how to finally chuck all your clutter and improve your life. Her business, which includes workshops and teleclasses, is called Keep It Simple Now, a clue to her approach. We sat down with Pat while the self-improvement urge was still upon us.

Tell me about your typical client. When people call or email you, what’s their mood and what do they say? They’re overwhelmed, stressed. They feel they’ve lost control, that the clutter is taking over. They can’t find anything, they’re depressed, they don’t know where to begin. They want someone to throw them a lifeline. And that’s what we do.

Getting organized really does seem like a 12-step program. First you have to admit that you’re powerless over clutter, then surrender to the process of making changes. What are the next steps?  I meet with the client. We discuss their needs and determine goals. Together we figure out how and where we can best begin to declutter their life and set them free.
You’re saying that if a person’s office or wherever is organized, they’ll feel free? Absolutely. Clutter weighs you down. It’s depressing. Without the emotional freight that clutter creates it’s easier to achieve your larger goals. You can then look at your life as a whole and decide whether there are other aspects that are weighing you down, perhaps a bad relationship, an unsatisfying job. Getting organized is one of the top 10 goals each year, and if you stick with it, it creates a personal transformation. You feel free and in control. People need that feeling.

FOR SIMPLICITY’S SAKE

“For Simplicity’s Sake!”

That’s what I say to my clients who want to live a simpler lifestyle yet can’t manage to “let go.”

Why can’t they “let go?”  Because they are afraid.

I remember at one point feeling that way in my life, but once I got on track and stayed COMMITTED to my dreams…everything fell into place.

It’s remarkable the effect commitment can have.

Which is why I am offering this tel-class.

I want to share with you some interesting news and let you know that I believe there is truth in simplicity.

I believe 2013 is the year for new beginnings. A year to make decisions to live simple.

I also understand that some people have difficulty making decisions about how to live a simpler lifestyle. They get confused or overwhelmed.  Some love the idea of living simpler but to actually implement a plan to do this usually gets put on hold along with the other unfulfilled wishes and dreams.

That’s why I want to share with you what I have been doing in my own life.  I want to help you stop procrastinating and develop a plan that can make you live more authentically.

This Tuesday’s Tel-Class is going to give you a lot of information about this and my upcoming on-line workshop –  Live A Life That Matters.

So please, take this time to consider registering for this tel-class tonight and think about how you can begin to make a difference for yourself this new year.

This tel-class is going to be a popular one so be sure to REGISTER NOW to reserve your place.

I always love when you participate in class.  So don’t be shy if you have something to share or have a question to ask.

Thanks again for registering.

I’ll be speaking with you soon!
