It’s All About The Results

It’s Friday and I’m hoping you have some really cool plans for your week-end.

Whether you have something super exciting to do or you’re going to simply chill out and relax, as long as you have peace of mind, that’s all that counts.

Having a clear head to enjoy the things you want to do in your free time is priceless.

That’s not always easy to do when you have countless things on your mind, especially things that you have been putting off and procrastinating about.

The problem with procrastination is eventually it takes a toll on the mind and starts to wear you down.

Darling, You’re Tougher Than You Think!

Life can be tough darling, but you know what?  So are you!

It takes courage to face our demons and deal with repressed or unconscious aspects of our personality.  But the flip side is that there is a life of freedom when we do.

It is through awareness and understanding, we recognize our unconscious actions, so as not to become a victim to the programmed patterns which accompany them.

In a nutshell, if we truly want to be free from the source of our suffering; fears, insecurities, doubts,  negative beliefs, we must be willing to let go of the past in order to embrace the life that is waiting for us.

The same thing holds true for clutter. Facing your demons is the only way to resolve the clutter for good.  Just clearing out your physical space will not take care of the problem.

How To Handle Events That Change Your Life Course

There are many events that can take place in life and alter our course.

Some examples are:

  • Divorce/Ending of a Relationship
  • Care Giving
  • Illness/Death
  • Career Change/Retirement

Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with these life changes.

It’s not unusual during these different stages to try and manage our emotions in an effort to comfort ourselves and feel better.  Unfortunately we may not make the best decisions at the time and end up overeating, overspending and over drinking.  All of which lead to clutter of the body, mind and environment.

We can also feel pure exhaustion and overwhelm and find it difficult to get things done that used to be part of our usual routine. This can include our household chores as well as our own self-care.

We are all human and there will be times when we will hurt. This is when we realize just how fragile we are.  Being kind and patient with ourselves is key for our well-being.

As we begin to heal, we accept that life has changed and we find ourselves asking questions, such as:

What are the changes I need to make and how do I go about doing it?

Each person is different, therefore determining the proper strategy for your needs are unique to you.  Working with a life coach to help you figure things out just might be the first step in the right direction.

International Women’s Day is Friday, March 8th.

The International Women’s Day 2019 campaign theme of  #BalanceforBetter  is a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world.

I’m honored to be a guest speaker for a company that recognizes equality and doesn’t see barriers for moving forward.  As I prepare for my presentation, I wanted to pass along to you some information that I will be sharing with my audience.

My intention is for it to move you to great accomplishments in your life that fills your heart and those of others.

Dr. Tererai Trent is the author of The Awakened Woman; A Guide to Remembering and Igniting your Sacred Dreams.  She is an exemplary example of passing the baton forward. During an interview with Marie Forleo, she was asked, “What advice she would give to women who were having difficulty identifying their great hunger (purpose, passion) in their hearts?” 

Here’s what she had to say:

“We all have hunger for a meaningful life.  How do you tap into that hunger?  You ask, ‘What Breaks My Heart?’  Because it is in those moments, those moments of our brokenness, we realize that it is not the past, it is not the challenges in front of us.  Once we realize that, we have the power to find the solution inside.  We start to hear the stirring in our own heart pointing us to something greater than who we are.  And we find the answer to that Great Hunger.  But we must be  INTENTIONAL. “

Think about this. Your home, is your creation. It is your vision in real life.

You see, we do manifest outwardly from the inside (the way we think and feel). Your living space is a good barometer check for what is going on internally. Take a good look at the way you are living. There are clues there.
