FALL INTO LIFE

Happy First Day Of Fall!

As summer wraps up and fall and winter approach, there’s plenty to do to get your home ready for the coming season.

But, there’s also plenty to do to get your “life” in order.

For instance, what are some of the “things” you promised yourself you would change in your life?  Do you need a better routine?  Do you need to self-care more often?  Do you need to change your diet?

Now is the time to get organized in your home, but remember, your home is a reflection of “you.” So how do you want to move forward in life that brings out the best in you and mirrors that back into your home?

You see, if you’re concerned about your disorganization or your clutter, what you need to realize first is that this is just an outward manifestation from what’s going on within you.  So the focus should always be on YOU first to figure out the “cause.”

Now I understand that sometimes it’s not always easy to identify the “source” of your time management issues, the perpetual procrastination, the undeniable distractions, etc., but once you do, it becomes so much clearer on what your next steps should be to clean-up the outward mess.

If this makes sense to you, and you would like to FALL INTO LIFE in a productive, stress-free way, then you should consider the Mind Clearing Session that everyone is raving about.  You can learn all about it by clicking on the link below.

Remember, it all begins with YOU!

Need A Boost? Start Self-Caring.

Okay, so here’s the deal on motivation…

If you lost your mojo, can’t get out of your own way, procrastinating, and just can’t get it together, and you’re not self-caring at this point, don’t expect motivation to come knocking at your door.  The truth is, if you’re not self-caring, you’re not even in the game of motivation.

Lack of motivation is usually due to fatigue and stress.  So we know to combat this we must self-care.  Now, self-care is not just about taking bubble baths…(lol) it’s much deeper than that.  You can start with the regular rituals; meditation, exercise, diet and sleep – these will all help build and boost the immune system and therefore enhance Serotonin, Dopamine, etc., levels in your brain.

Also, eating too much junk food and abusing alcohol and drugs will mess with your brain of course, so that will affect your motivation.  What you need to understand is that  motivation is neurobiological as well.

Now, another big thing is to make sure your environment is conducive to wellness.  That means, less is more.  Your living space and work space should be neat and tidy and organized –  no clutter.  Studies prove that clutter messes with your brain – i.e., gives you clutter of the mind and causes stress and overwhelm, therefore, diminishes productivity.

Now, once you’re starting to get back into the game of motivation and you’re feeling much better – the key to productivity is to have your eye on the future – meaning, you have to have a goal.  Hope for something to go after.  Without this, you will just be surviving not thriving – and we don’t want that.

So you must begin with a Life Goal. Now that may seem contrary to what we’ve been told all these years – such as we need yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily first.  After you devise your life goal, then you start working backwards toward the other goals.  Without a life goal, you’re just skimming through life without a purpose and there’s no bigger productivity killer than that.

So there you have it.  Remember, self-care is self-love.  Start today – it’s never too late.

The 3 Gateways To Self-Care; How to improve your wellness and reduce stress

I’ve been thinking a lot more about the impact stress has on people.

The interesting thing about stress is that most of us tend to shrug it off as if it’s just a normal part of life.  So we pay it no mind and try to carry on with our day, hoping things will eventually calm down and get better.

Now, let me be clear.  Everyone experiences stress to some degree in today’s modern world.  But I’m talking about the stress that keeps building until it wreaks havoc on your body, mind and living space.

The very first thing I advise my clients to do when the stress starts to manifest is to go into self-care mode.

Our wellness is a direct outcome of how well we take care of ourselves and how intentional we are about it. When we wait on self-care, our wellness can suffer and fall like a house of cards.

If you would like to learn some strategies on how to self-care and reduce your stress, I’m going to be offering a FREE webinar on The 3 Gateways to Self-Care.

I hope you’ll join me and while your at it, invite a friend or loved one as well.

If You Are Struggling Read This

Recently someone who was struggling with getting organized wrote to me asking for help.

Here is some of what she wrote: ✍️

“Why can’t I get organized?
I want nothing more than to be free from this clutter, but I can’t seem to do it.
I start, I stop.  Sometimes, the thought of it, even though it’s what I want, seems so overwhelming.
If it’s something I want so much, then why can’t I do it?  What’s stopping me?
Please help me understand this.  What am I not getting?”  🤔

Here’s part of my response to her:

“There can be many reasons why you may be experiencing overwhelm, especially when it’s a goal that is very important to you.  Without knowing your situation entirely, I will try to give you a better understanding of what may be the reason behind your lack of follow through with getting organized.

There is a theory, one that I subscribe to, that beneath one’s clutter is the inability to forgive one’s self.  You see, buried underneath the clutter is a lot of life history, with raw emotion.  When we try to “deal” with the clutter, we are then reminded of our pain that was never healed.  This can be conscious or unconscious.

The truth is, we all make mistakes in life and have regret.  Unfortunately, people with clutter have difficulty with letting go of their past. They cling to their past with shame and guilt which only keeps them imprisoned.  They don’t realize that there is greatness in their brokenness.”

                   – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Friends, forgiveness helps us make peace with what is and discover self-acceptance and grace.  Forgiveness allows us to move forward.

I understand that coming to terms with brokenness and choosing to forgive yourself can seem like an impossible task.  But if you are struggling with your past, feeling overwhelmed and accumulating clutter, there are resources that can help you. 🔥🔥🔥

And Just Like That … I Changed

So I changed.

This is what it’s like for people who just can’t take the madness and chaos of clutter.  Be it physical or mental – clutter is clutter. The heaviness of clutter is painful. Dragging around all that “stuff” day after day and the crazy mental chatter that swirls around – it’s exhausting.

You Are Enough!

I recently attended a Master Class on dealing with rejection.

I had no idea what to expect but I was open to learning and was excited to take the class.

When I tell you that the experience I had was nothing short of profound, I truly mean it.

When I left the class, I walked away feeling “full.”  Full of knowledge, yes, but also an enormous amount of validation that I am “ENOUGH.”

The most beautiful words to my ears were:

“You are enough as you are, mess and all, beautiful and broken, showing up for your life every day.

That’s all you have to be and all you have to do. You’re already enough.”

Melisa Wilkins

My Dear Friends, let me tell you, you are more than enough!

If you’re feeling broken and messy, that’s okay.  The truth is, we’re all broken and messy in some way.  But that doesn’t mean we’re not enough.

Buying “things” and surrounding yourself with excess “stuff” will  not give you the self-worth you are seeking. All it does is mask the pain and leave you with self-rejection and clutter.

In my upcoming class, 7 Habits Of Organized People, I’m going to show you one particular habit that will address feelings of lack and give you a better understanding of how to work through it.

If you want to dive deep with me, this is the class for you!

Tame The Stress – Calm The Clutter

There are many reasons why we get stressed out and we all handle our stress differently.

But one thing’s for sure, we all fall prey to the effects of living with stress.

Stress can affect us both physically and mentally, from common complaints like tummy ache and headaches, to putting a strain on your relationships with others.

But stress can also cause us to manifest outwardly with clutter.

For example:

My experience as a Clutter Coach has shown me that stress can cause people to feel lethargic and therefore hinders their productivity.

The level of stress and energy level can then influence how much a person is able to get things done.

The problem is, if the underlying reason for the stress is not understood and managed, it can cause a cycle that only perpetuates the manifestation.of clutter.

If you’re feeling stressed or are interested in learning more about stress and clutter, I’d like to invite you to my upcoming class:
