2020 CLUTTER VISION

If you’re like most people, you’re looking forward to new beginnings and a fresh start this New Year.

2020 is the year of crystal clear vision. Knowing exactly what you want and taking action to build that life for yourself, while dropping all the limiting beliefs that previously got in your way.

It also means, it’s time to take a good hard look at some facts.

It’s a fact that CLUTTER destroys productivity – especially in the workplace. Why?  Because, the fact is, clutter is a distraction.

According to research published by the University of Chicago Press, evidence has shown that a messy workspace can be a self-defeating environment, meaning the less organized our surroundings, the more likely we are to do substandard work by taking the shortest route, or giving up on the task altogether. The studies summarized by the research make clear that disorganization portrays the sense that we’ve lost control over our environment, and therefore lack the ability be at our best.

Here’s another fact – there are many people who suffer from clutter and keep it a secret.  Why?  Because they are embarrassed, ashamed and fearful.

It’s for these very reasons I created Mindful Tools For Organized Living.

The truth is, there are just too many people who are suffering in silence because they feel overwhelmed from the burden of clutter.  It’s a debilitating problem.

Mindful Tools For Organized Living is a program and great resource that helps educate people on the facts of clutter and how to break the cycle in the most non-threatening manner. This self-help tool, comes with a complete video tutorial and manual to guide you efficiently and effectively.

There is also the Mindfulness Coaching Program that many people opt into for one-on-one support to maximize their results.

Let’s make 2020 your year of clutter-free living.  Begin today on the right path.  It’s time to see clearly now!

Want a secret weapon to reduce your stress?

Want a secret weapon for relieving stress? Get organized.

It’s pretty much common knowledge that clutter can drain your energy. A cluttered home – a cluttered mind. But clutter also drains your finances and schedule, which we refer to as the hidden cost of clutter. Not only does it affect your energy and pocketbook, it ultimately creates a chaotic life.

Putting in the effort to get organized by establishing healthy habits, (especially if the disorganization and clutter extends to multiple areas of your life) can help reduce stress tremendously. Just think how stressful it is when you’re scrambling at the last-minute looking for your things or you show up late for a meeting because you lost track of time.

Being organized on the other hand, can leave you feeling empowered. Facing the day prepared can actually minimize the strength and duration of your stress. The key is to reduce your triggers in the first place.
Getting organized doesn’t have to be overwhelming. There are a few habits you can learn right away, such as:

• Everything in its place and a place for everything. (And that place should make sense.)
• Keep like with like.
• Dedicate 20 minutes to a task each day.

To reduce your stress, consider how organized you need to be. While you may not need your books alphabetized or have every minute scheduled in your calendar, adopting a few good habits could go a long way.

In case you haven’t heard, I’m teaching a class on the 7 Habits Of Organized People. If you want to minimize your stress and learn some pretty cool strategies, put this class on your calendar! Although I won’t be addressing how to color coordinate your clothes or line up your shoes and handbags, I can promise that you will walk away with a closet full of valuable information.

Taking Care Of Your Living Space Is Taking Care Of You

Self-care is loving yourself – body, mind and living space.

Many people don’t realize that taking care of your living space is taking care of you.

Remember, your home is a reflection of how you are feeling.

Be good to yourself.

Let’s Lift Each Other Up

Think about how you can change a person’s energy just by doing the following:

Compliment them.
Magnify their strengths, not their weaknesses.

Amazing things happen when a person feels confident and believed in.

Especially when undergoing a deep de-cluttering of life.

De-cluttering is a process and there will be times of doubt and struggle. By default, this is the time most people forget how strong they really are.

But we must remember what we are capable of. This is done by recalling all our successes and accomplishments and reliving the feeling.

Soon you’ll realize that de-cluttering is just another strength you will be able to demonstrate.

Then give back and lift another by magnifying their strengths.

Journey Into Clean Living

It’s not uncommon for people to think of  “clean living” as a healthy or morally acceptable way to live life.

But in today’s modern world, the term clean living is associated with how a person takes care of their body, mind and living space.  At least, that’s what I teach my students.

Self-care is a reflection of all of these things.  Being mindful of what you ingest into your body, the words you say to yourself, and the environment you inhabit, is how you begin to live a clean life.

In my latest book, Open Yourself to a Vibrant Healthy Life Through Clean Living I give you examples and exercises on living holistically. If you haven’t picked up your copy, you can do so HERE.

And if you’re interested, I’ll be teaching a new course, “Journey Into Clean Living” at The Lodge At Woodloch this summer.  Plus, you’ll also find me in their kitchen sharing some of my refreshing, smoothie recipes.  You can get all the details HERE.

Of course, if you have any questions or are interested in learning more about how to live a clean life for your body, mind and living space – simply reach out to me. I’d love to help you.
